Choosing the right pressure conversion
Pressure is force distributed over area. Consumer gauges commonly show psi, bar, or kilopascals, while scientific references may use pascals, kilopascals, or standard atmospheres.
A unit conversion does not determine a safe operating pressure. For tires, machinery, medical equipment, and regulated systems, use the manufacturer placard or approved specification as the authority.
